This statement is made on behalf of PHAROAH TECHNOLOGY LTD (company number 17220127). Our group turnover is below the £36m threshold at which s.54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires publication, but we publish voluntarily because the standard is the standard.
PHAROAH TECHNOLOGY LTD, trading as Pharoah Technology, operates from 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We provide business and technology services. We are a small, founder-led business; we have no manufacturing, no large workforce, and a short supplier chain dominated by UK and EU cloud services.
Primary suppliers are UK and EU-headquartered SaaS providers (cloud infrastructure, payment processing, communications, analytics). Each is contractually bound by their own modern-slavery and human-rights commitments. We do not knowingly use suppliers based in regions or sectors at high risk of forced labour under the Global Slavery Index.
We operate an internal Code of Conduct covering ethical procurement, fair pay, whistleblowing, and supplier due diligence. New suppliers above £5,000 annual spend are screened for modern-slavery commitments before onboarding.
We classify our overall modern-slavery risk as low: digital services, UK/EU suppliers, no physical goods. We review annually and re-classify if we add high-risk procurement (e.g. hardware manufacturing).
Founders and any contractors with procurement authority complete a written briefing on modern-slavery indicators on onboarding and annually.
Anyone with a concern about modern slavery in our operations or supply chain can email info@pharoahtechnology.co.uk. Reports are treated confidentially. The UK Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline is 08000 121 700.
